For boat manufacturers, we stock Joubert Okoume, Hydrotek and Aquatek (luan based). The most common use is for boat building from kayaks to large yachts, however the versatility we have seen from customers includes the use of Joubert in experimental airplanes! History
In the early 1950s, Nolen Mills brought his considerable wood knowledge and expertise from the Midwest and joined the plywood industry in Southern California. When friends needed a supplier to provide the ply needed for carpet-tacking strips in their flooring business, Allied Veneer Co. was born.
